Joey's big day not enough, Vipers blown out 13-6 by Tigers

Joey went 3-3 at the plate, but the Vipers fell 13-6 to the Tigers at Field two on Saturday.
Joey put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Vipers. He doubled in the second and third innings and singled in the fourth inning.
The Tigers pounded the Vipers pitching, as eight hitters combined for 20 hits, 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
The game's last lead went to the Tigers thanks to a first inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on a two-run double by Larry and an RBI single by Jack.
The Tigers brought home five runs in the second inning, and matched that run total in the third. In the second, the Tigers scored on an RBI single by William, bringing home Alejandro.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the second, the Vipers faced just a 8-1 deficit. An RBI single by Anthony triggered the Vipers' comeback. Aiden grounded out to end the Vipers threat.
Five the Vipers runs crossed the plate in the bottom half of the third, making the score 13-6. An RBI single by Ian, an RBI double by Joey, an RBI single by Jacob, an RBI single by Jimmy, and an RBI single by Aiden fueled the Vipers' comeback.
